Norm Tatlow who is on the Board of Silver Threads, Victoria passed along information about a program, started in Copenhagen, called Cycling without Age. It is an initiative to get elderly people out on bicycles. Volunteers take elderly people on rickshaw rides to get them outside and enjoying nature. It seems like a great way to reduce social isolation and increase connection with people and nature. There is a chapter in Victoria, and they are looking for volunteers.
