Norm T. rode from home, missed the boat by about 5 minutes and spent the whole ride pedalling madly to catch up, in vain. We were 6 finally at the nice covered bike rack outside The Broken Paddle. Good coffee break with David N. hitting on a few middle aged women, offering them pillows to sit on etc. Discussion was around the political debate, the modest plumber who donated $ 25 M to Lions Gate Hospital in Vancouver, the Vic homeless housing initiative, etc. Bob, Dave N., and Norm T. split off at the E & N trail and applauded not having to bump over the bridges on the Goose trail home.
